Today, October 29, 2014, is National Pancake Day. A pancake is a flat cake, often thin, and round, prepared from a starch-based batter and cooked on a hot surface such as a griddle or frying pan. Archaeological evidence suggests that pancakes are probably the earliest & most widespread cereal food eaten in prehistoric societies
