We need an active and present sheriff office in Sun City

Hi Janet and Others, I have written letters to Sheriff Chiefs for over 7 years now. I have asked for a more visible presence here in Sun City. We need an actual sheriff office, yes, large sign, sheriff's vehicles riding around being on the alert in all the locations where crime is happening. I know what I am talking about. I have lived in this area for 50 years. I remember what the place looked like, then, and now. I know the downgrading is going on all over, but this is your community and we have to get involved and get concerned.
Lots of poverty now, and yes, we do need to have more social services and take care of the poor. But we don't have to put up with the vagrants and crime.
People need to come and have a voice at these safety meetings with MCSO.
I am going to continue to ask MCSO for more physical presence and yes, take an empty building, we have many around here, and make another active police department.
Posse is commendable, but we need the FORCE now!
