Oh my goodness, so glad you were not bitten. Thanks for the warning. I have not seen any snakes in the yard, and I am sure the beagles would go nuts if they found one. Do be careful and thank you again for the heads up.
Emily, just curious -- are you in phase I, II, or III. I've lived in SC for a long time and not encountered a snake or scorpion. That said, the increasing prevalence of roof rats bodes well for snakes since young rodents are a prime source of food for snakes.
Oh my goodness!! Snakes are my biggest fear. I may just stay up here in Washington. I'm glad that you are ok.
If we didn't have snakes we wouldn't have snakeskin c'boy boots Julianna, I have seen far more snakes in WA than AZ.
