Keeping your registration in your car is like an open invitation for a car thief to say, "Oh, good! I have THEIR car to drive to THEIR house, which I now have the address to... and since their car is HERE and not THERE, then THEY probably aren't there, neighbors would EXPECT their car in their driveway, so it will probably be easy for me to rob their HOUSE, too!"

Always keep the registration in the car. If you are ever pulled over, the first things the police officer will want to see are your license and registration.

There are a few different factors to consider when deciding where to keep your registration in the car. The registration needs to be out of the way, so it isn't seen easily by others. Another concern is that the registration is easily accessible. If you are pulled over by the police, you need to be able to get the registration without too much trouble.

I plan to keep my registration in a plastic container in an ice chest in the trunk of my car.

Where are you going to keep yours?

BTW. It is a good idea to make a copy to keep at home.
