Today, September 10, 2014, is National TV Dinner Day.

A TV dinner is a prepackaged frozen or chilled dinner
which usually comes as an individual portion.

It requires very little preparation and contains all
the elements for a single-serving meal.

A TV dinner usually consists of a cut of meat with a vegetable,
and sometimes a dessert. Rice is a common side item.

The entrée could also be pasta or a common type of fish.

What is your favorite TV dinner?
Mine is Hungry Man boneless chicken.
It makes 2 meals for me.

Mine is the Lean Cuisine pepperoni pizza.

I remember eating a tv dinner in an aluminum tray as a child. It was a special treat to get to eat one of these.
