Travel between Sun City and SC West in a golf cart?

    I rather doubt that you can drive a golf cart between SC & SCW.
    Unless there is a route I don't know.

    Emily, I just reread your post and you said between OSC to SCW.
    Whoops. it took me a minute to realize OSC meant Original SC. Never heard it referred to that way.

    I might be mistaken -- but pretty certain that the only streets to & from Sun City to Sun City West are Grand Ave. or Bell Rd.

    Any other roads that might go from here to there -- might be out of the way.

    GRAND & BELL both have a faster speed limit than Golf Carts would normally go...
    I do believe (and not 100 % certain) that they are not permitted on any street that has traffic going more than 30 mph.

    Anyone know of something different ... on these rules/laws for the Golf Carts ? ?

    Definitely no golf carts on Bell and Grand - nowhere. Not positive about Thunderbird within Sun City. Definitely not outside SC

    You cannot travel by golf cart on Bell Road. The only communities you can travel between are SCW and SCG

    I have seen golf carts on Thunderbird...only in Sun City -- using them to get to & from Lakeview Rec Center and Boswell Hospital...
    Remember -- I also think the speed limit on Thunderbird - - in that area - - is also 30mph. I do believe. Anyone know differently ?

    Does SC and SCW allow any cross over in clubs? Can an SC resident join a SCW club and vice versa? Just wondering because it seems SCW has a great astronomy club.

    Cynthia... I think each of us Sun Cities has it's own clubs -- however, I do know that we "cross-over" (as you put it) in one of our dance clubs.
    Your best way to approach this question would be for you to contact the Rec Centers for each SCW and SC - - to find out their exact rules on this.. The Astronomy club, I am sure, is very interesting !

    As I understand it, golf carts are allowed on any roads with speed limits of 35 or less. I never drive on 99th even though you may see others using it. You can, however, cross streets with higher speed limits.
