We have visited Sun City Festival several times and really like it out there. It is a bit of a drive, but once you get out there it seems like it is worth it! It seems so quiet and peaceful, and the people were very friendly. We still have over a year before retirement, but plan on visiting again this fall. We have also visited Trilogy, but felt SCF was a better fit for us. We are still undecided whether we will build or buy existing. Anyone else considering SCF? What were your likes/dislikes about the community?
I think there's a thread on this site to discuss Festival. A good place to find Festival discussion is also city-data.com in the Arizona then Phoenix forum. There's been quite a lot written on it there. Just type in "festival' in the search area.
