Be sure to visit the Sun City Mineral Museum located in the Sundial Rec Center. It has a large variety of minerals and fossils. The Fluorescent Room has rocks that appear ordinary until the door is closed and they take on many colors. The majority of them are from Franklin County, N.J, the Fluorescent Capital of the world. The Sun City Rockhounds Club has field trips and educational speakers. I personally am donating a large piece of petrified wood.
