I followed the link to read about the BP post about C.O.P.S., read the article and then poked around on the "Sun Cities Today" blog. I came across the post titled "Remarkable Study In The Birth of Age Restricted Communities". I've read Melanie's thesis a couple of times now and it is really well done. Melanie is now the chief archivist for Arizona State and while in grad school did some interning at the Del Webb Sun Cities Museum. Many of the oral histories for Sun City were done by her as well.
