Hi Everyone, I hope this post finds everyone well. I need your ideas: I've been reading that Arizona is growing exponentially and that homes are not on the market for very long. Homes and Condos are getting multiple offers and there aren't many homes on the market right now. That means it is going to take a while for me to find a place to buy and I will need to rent somewhere (preferably furnished, but I can rent furniture or buy some inexpensive stuff to use for the moment). The problem with renting is: I am also reading that all the apartment complexes are full and have their choice of tenants. I will be there without a job. So, I'm not so certain a landlord will want to rent to someone who is unemployed/retired but too young to start social security. Does anyone have any ideas how to go about finding a place to live when I've never rented before, so I don't have a landlord's reference, and I won't have a job? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
