I notice, if I am reading the stats correctly, that my sculpture quizzes have had 50, even 100 visitors but only a couple of votes. I am wondering, Admin, if folks not registered can vote and whether we should consider all these visits to be de facto "NO" votes?

There is no voting button unless logged in so I don't think a person can vote without being registered.

Perhaps your vote is there and 3rd Gen did not vote?

The tally understands the votes it is getting as I voted yes, then changed my vote to no, and the tally changed, then I returned and changed it to the correct answer, yes. Perhaps you need to find some obscure piece of minutia very few people have been around in a while or something new, then, offer up a $5 dollar Starbucks coffee card. Then see how many people are really reading what is going on in this thread.

Well I can probably find pieces that are harder to locate, but if those 100 people who looked at the thread are going to get $5 each - that's a bit out of my price range.

Maybe you should hide the $5 on a statue. First one to find it gets the bucks.

Why not? I'm pretty sure I'd be the first one to find it, but that would sort of discriminate against those who are not here. Something I'd rather not do.
Also this is touching on the suspicion that I have that Americans are only motivated by money, and I hate to just reenforce my own stereotypes.

No, not everyone who finds the answer, just the first person to reply correctly. Not being motivated by money, but by coffee. Which is why I suggested a $5 Starbucks card. There is always an instant interest in something as soon as there is some kind of prize attached. Whether it be dinner out, a movie, or a cup of coffee, it could generate a great response. The rule would be to name the item, it's location, and where it can be found, exactly. Not just some thing along Thunderbird Rd, as an example. Or, perhaps, a leather key fob from the Bell Leather shop. This way it is also promoting local clubs in the process.

Okay, I am off for now. Stirred up enough of the pot. Can't wait to hear some additional suggestions. Anyone?
