I won't belabor the matter, just more a point of reference. I dropped off my request for documents today (11-12-21) at the Lakeview offices. I asked who would get it? I was told Marcia would get them on Monday. Seems easy enough; we'll see. The form asks why you want the data requested. As i am want to do, i over-elaborated. I'll spare you the details but the two page typed letter i submitted was detailed to a fault. I also included copies of old articles from the newspaper and other information i found on file at the Museum. Suffice to say, my premise was simple: When the RCSC enters into agreements with the membership at large, they have both a moral and legal obligation to live up to them. Just because the general manager thinks she knows what board members intentions were 10, 20, 30 and 40 years ago, actually reading what they intended is far more accurate. Should be interesting to see how this works.
Can't wait for your update. I suspect many documents will be unavailable and deemed to be "classified"?
I find when dealing with the RCSC there's a need to cover all the bases. That's why the packet i dropped off was just one of several i put together. You know, just in case they think my request is frivolous and doesn't meet their exacting standards they try so hard to achieve.
