    The article opened fine.
It was nice to see "our" Sun City near the top.

I guess our secret is out now...We really should not be surprised because we all know what a good value this place is. If they only had a Sun City like this in Hawaii, I would be on a plane lol.

I just hope that all the talk of "best value" and stressing the affordability won't just bring in folks looking for that and not caring that we are "a city of volunteers" and that helps keep costs economical by having great groups like Prides and Posse, etc. We need an influx of those who care about what we really are about and become vested in that rather than those just looking for a deal....

I have been to HI several times.
Also, I lived on an island in the state of WA for many years.

My island had 2 ferries and 1 very narrow 2-lane bridge.
It always concerned me as to what would happen in an emergency - no bridge or ferry.
Whidbey Island Naval Air Station would have taken care of their personnel & families.
I didn't even have an inflateable boat. But I do know how to swim.
Maybe one of those friendly dolphins would have given me a ride to the mainland.

Not to worry now in AZ.
