Halloween in Sun City?

I think we've had maybe 5 children a few years ago and none come to our door in the past 5 years. We do keep a bag of candy on hand and it usually ends up as a treat for us! Most communities now have parties at school or community centers for the kids these days.

 

I would happy to give anyone a treat that comes to my door in a costume. Age no limit!

 

We had the best Halloween street scene in Vistancia 9 years ago. The adults were dressed up like sumo wrestlers and giant chickens and one guy put orange lights all over his golf cart and dressed like Dracula lol. We really enjoyed the children back then but am so glad after answering the door up to 9 p.m and passing out $50 worth of candy to have a quiet Halloween now.

 

About 15 years ago, I remember a van pulling up in our neighborhood with 6-7 kids. They "trick or treated" the area, left, and I haven't seen any since. I live in the original section of Sun City.
