Posse, MCSO set drug take back day Sun City and surrounding area residents can dispose of unwanted prescription drugs during the semi-annual Drug Take Back event. It is scheduled 10 a.m.2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 in front of the Sun City Posse headquarters, 10861 W. Sunland Drive Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 3 substation will be on site to assist residents in disposing of their unused expired prescription or over-the-counter drugs. No glass, needles or liquids will be accepted. The Drug Take-Back programs are done nationally on a semi-annual basis in the spring and fall. All drugs are disposed of properly by the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency. Sun City Posse members will be assisting the MCSO deputies in this community and area endeavor.
