I prefer Sun Dial because the pool is inside and it is the closest rec center to me.
The mini-golf at Lakeview is my favorite of mini-golfs.
Other than that each rec center has its own unique attractions.
I've only been to Marinette one time and wasn't impressed. However, it is currently being remodeled.

I like Oakmont.....it was the very first rec center in Sun City, built in 1960. It could use some renovations, but it has a charm all it's own. The pool is smaller than the others and not nearly as busy. It also is the only Sun City pool that doesn't use chlorine to sanitize the water, I believe they have a sand/salt filter. Swimming there does not make my eyes sting and the salt water makes floating a breeze. It's not heavy salty, only noticeable if you swallow some :)

I will use the Lakeview pool when we have the grandkids down as Oakmont does not have children's hours. I was really sad when they cut out the children's hours at Oakmont.....it is so close to our house, very convenient.

I forgot to add that the Oakmont weight/training/exercise area is rarely busy.....they have the latest machines, and the only machine I have ever needed to wait for is the elliptical.

I have visited and actually used all of the rec centers -- their pools, hot tubs, gym facilities -- . I like all of the Mini-Golf areas - Sundial, (and my favorites) Bell & Lakeview.
I like the indoor shuffle board at Bell. Favorite gym is Fairway because it is so new and love that indoor track. Bell runs a close 2nd - - however - -it is normally pretty busy there.. I like Sundial for the Gym, also - a nice facility... We are so fortunate here in Sun City -- we have 7 wonderful Rec Centers if we do not like one we can go to another !
For lap lanes - I prefer Bell.....and Bell has a great walking pool. Hot tub nice, also. Fairway is re modeled and very nice -- a smaller version of Bell with their pool area. Enjoyable and shady around the pool area also. I enjoy Lakeview in the winter months - -because the pool is always filled with sun - -no shade on the pools. Mt. View Poo is nice and large -- but a little to far for me. Oakmont is nice with their gym as well as Salt Water pool. Sundial is nice, but indoors - - great for a dip in the cold cold winter months...I prefer to be outdoors....:unconscious:
Our Rec Center's Bowling at Bell and Lakeview -- both are great ....and well kept up, as is the Pool/Billiards area.
Golf Courses are nice -- no big opinion on them, as I am not a golfer...

Mine would be Bell center for the awesome gym and walking pool, then of course the Lakeview center for the art of it.
