Since this forum has folks who know lots about how boards run or should be run and probably have had contact with some of the candidates, does anyone endorse any of the candidates or could make some educated guesses about which ones might be better for our community than others?

Didn't realize it was 3 for 3--well that election is easy, but votes still probably important for ranking them.
And what of the SCHOA folks?

You don't have to vote for all 3 RCSC candidates. Seeing them in person at the Candidate Forums will help to see how informed they are about Sun City issues. If you can't make it in person to one of the 2 forums, they will be available online(as long as the tape isn't lost!). The candidates must receive a minimum of 100 votes to be elected to a position on the BOD.

SCHOA has 4 running for 3- 3 year positions. Three of the candidates have been active in Sun City and active in SCHOA. One candidate hasn't attended meetings or been at candidate functions to date. Once again you don't have to vote for 3 candidates and there is no minimum vote count to be elected.

It is interesting to note the board's election committee the past several several years took ownership in finding more candidates than open spots. Hell, last year there were 8 running. Wonder if there's that little interest in the community...or from the committee?
