Mountain View Moratorium – Karen McAdam – I move that the 90-day moratorium on the Mountain View project be extended for 30 days. • Next Meeting Date – Board Member Exchange April 11, 2022, at 9am at Sundial Auditorium. The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be on April 28, 2022, at 9am in the Sundial Auditorium. • Motion to Adjourn We ARE allowed to speak to posted motions. The Board has relentlessly pushed for the renovation now regardless of the fact that we are experiencing the worst inflation rate in 40 years which has raised the prices for steel, lumber and other supply chain items to an all-time high and caused many a delay. And it’s not like the Board doesn’t know this as they recently stated in the Sun City Independent newspaper that “the Viewpoint Lake project was originally estimated to cost $6 million but was increased to $8 million. RCSC officials expect further cost increases due to inflation and supply chain issues.” Don’t they think that the proposed $39,677,403 million dollar figure for Phases I, II, and III (spread out over a 10-year period) at Mountain View will skyrocket as well?
