Their ice cream is amazing. They open at 2:00 p.m. today. They are located in the area of 111th and Youngtown across from Alabama.
I never knew there was an ice cream shop near this area. Now that I know about it, I am sure to frequent the location often. Thank you for letting me know about this and for sharing.
Dang!! Just started Carnivore Diet. Docs orders for BP and Heart Murmur. Maybe I can cheat in a month or so.
Yes, I am on a medically restricted diet for another two weeks, too. No dairy, gluten free. Hard to follow but I have been very good for four weeks. Miss pasta and pizza the most.
I just got their black licorice and DH got the black cherry amaretto. So good. Ice cream made from real food ingredients. We got triple cups. I can see myself doing the smaller single cup once a week as a treat. Dairy Queen is loaded with unnecessary chemicals that I just cannot tolerate anymore.
Yes, black cherry amaretto, SO GOOD! I buy a few hand packed favorite flavor pints to have in my freezer during the summer months when I’d rather not be out❗️
The hours are 2 pm to 9 pm every day but Saturday. Saturday hours are 12 to 10:30. The triple cup lasts me 2 days and costs $6.75. Rocky Road and Butter Pecan so tasty. They are in the process of getting Mighty Moo tee shirts.
If the Mighty Moo is that good, maybe we should give them a lease in some of our flat space that sits empty 75% of the time.
They have a nice little setup where they're at now. It's under new ownership from the folks that closed up last year so all they had to do was buy the business because the equipment was already there. They seem to be getting a lot of family traffic and people taking walks around that area near the town square. There's a nice park with benches around the corner and little tables out front. The R Bookmark bookstore is right across the parking lot. Taking a ride down there reminds me of when I was a kid and we used to take a car ride go to an ice cream place on the weekends. Can't recall the name now. Red Barn something.
