My understanding based on what was said prior to the meeting this was a temporary use for summer hours.

That's a good thing. Very happy to see this. BFDC has actual rules that must be followed. The folks who run it are great.

God is Great, Dogs are Awesome, People Suck.

I hope you all don't die at the same time because IF you get into heaven it's gonna be one hell of a fight regarding who God's chair really belongs to.

Agree - doesn’t make sense at all to put in a 350 seat theatre. Not a good use of the facility.

  9. There is no god so I have nothing to worry about as I have personally witnessed it, have you been to the place with you and god? I think not.

It's kind of funny. All total I had 15 Aunts and Uncles, all married with kids. Most lived in Oak Lawn. We Facebook. Quite a few remember you. One more than the rest. He always was a little nerdy too.

I was taught that when you let anger control your thinking you are giving power to the person causing the anger. Just saying.

  13. HH, a little intolerant on the religion front aren’t you? Not everybody accepts the stories and are cool with it. I am not afraid of death because of my experience, are you afraid? Just asking.

  14. Considering how much I hated HS, I doubt anyone remembers me. Wasn’t nerdy, just kept to myself, I had a better outside interest not listed anywhere.

High school. I didn't hate it because I understood that it was inevitable. I left good grades to my brother, as well as good behavior.

  16. I was with people i was with in elementary school since first grade. Enough already! Left home after university and never looked back. I have been pleased with my life thus far. I have had experiences that few people have happen to them. I am still not done, Ravenna is on the list as is Bergamo, Rome, Palermo and Germany. Maybe eastern Poland as I try to track Dow some ancestors without speaking Polish.

Love Ravenna and Palermo. Rome is a must if you visit Italy but get on a tour to see the Vatican museum with the paintings so you don't have to stand in line for hours. Unfortunately I missed Florence, but stayed over a week in Venice. When there, go eat at Harry's Bar, another place not to be missed. Murano island where they make blown glass is very interesting. Ate at a small Italian there but don't remember the names. Germany is lovely and clean, I am just not fond of German cuisine. The beer is good! Never been to Poland, but visited Yugoslavia when it was a communist nation. Showed how capitalism is much more prosperous! Not sure I will ever cross the pond again but never say never.

The closest I got to Ravenna is the book "Ravenna Mosaics", now in hand. I have a serious interest in not just architectural history but specifically what builders add to make their structures works of art, mosaics, murals, sculpture, stained glass, wrought iron, and probably more. Whoops, something happened.
