Just saw a report where an 80 year old woman from Washington State was in the shower at the YMCA when she heard a man's voice in the locker room. She complained about it and was kicked out of the Y!!!

We know if you check the Family Watchdog website you'll see there are several registered sex offenders living among us.

Just wondering what the RCSC's policy is on allowing men who identify as woman to use the women's locker rooms!

My wife uses the pool on a regular basis and it concern's me.

Just ask'n! You know it's gonna happen sooner or later! Why do you think there are now security camera's pointed at the entrance to some of the restrooms? It's happened in the past!

And what is RCSC's policy on allowing women who identify as men to use the men's locker rooms!
I just googled Gender Identification. It's very interesting on certain things that identify gender.

The Y chromosome is present in males, who have one X and one Y chromosome, while females have two X chromosomes.

That's it! You either have indoor plumbing or outdoor plumbing!

O.K. So when signing in at a rec center, will you have to show which chromosomes you have?
Maybe we will have to start showing a card with that info.

    Maybe!

All I can say is that right now there are 72 genders???

If you think this issue isn't going to eventually sneak into our community you're wrong. Just look at what they're teaching our youths in school!

God created Man, and God created Women. Where the other 70 genders came from, I have no idea!

    This is an interesting gender

Gender witched: The person is inclined toward the notion of having one gender but does not know which.

Perhaps we should all dress alike to avoid any confusion.

What are they teaching in school?

I would think that RCSC policy or lack thereof was determined at the time the transgender club was accepted as a charter club several years ago.....end of discussion.

Don't get me wrong, I have no objections to the LGBT Club and am not a homophobe. God loves everybody! But I am concerned about a pervert walking into the woman's showers declaring he identifies as a woman!

Like I said earlier, that's why we now have security cameras pointed at the entrance to some of the restrooms. It happens! End of story!

FYI.......be careful and not walk into the trap. You are now referring to a "pervert"....is that the same in your mind as a man identifying as a woman? Is that two different kinds of thought or one and the same?

Thanks for clarifying your concern; your first post was worded a little funny. So this has nothing to do with transgenders - but rather someone else ("pervert") using the transgender policy dishonestly to gain access to somewhere they shouldn't be. That seems like a valid concern. I don't have an answer.

Not touching this one with a ten foot pole. I'm more concerned about a good daily constitutional, if you know what i mean. Sorry, just the way it is at these advanced years. On a brighter note, good to see you are still alive and kicking Gary Cotten. You've been pretty quiet of late. As a former board member, what's your take regarding outside full play golf? Rather than muck up this thread, feel free to answer in the other more lively one regarding golf.

The question goes back to the intent of the original situation that took place in the Washington State YMCA, and that's all I was trying to find out. Who's rights are being violated? Is it the lady that was offended and kicked out of the Y or the person who caused the offensive situation and was allowed to stay?

If every time the situation happens and someone is offended, will each offended person be kicked-out or should the offender be asked to leave?

Just wondering where the RCSC stood on the situation regardless of who the offender may be? No more or no less than that!

When is the world going to recognize this transgender crap for what it really is?
