Hello DDD, and welcome. I saw your comment and hesitated answering due to the touchy subject of internet providers. I know which service provider to discourage you from signing on with and it is Centurylink/Lumen telecommunications. Yes, I worked for them for almost 30 years, and have benefitted in the past from their services. In today's world, they have not made an effort to maintain a good broadband presence in our community, making their service slow and unreliable to be used as a work from home solution. So, now that one has been removed from the picture, this would leave Cox Communications. Depending on your business needs and amount of data needed to conduct you work from home activities, this is probably one of the better solutions within the Sun City area. They are also a CATV provider as well as local land line service if this is something you need to function daily. T-Mobile has expanded their 5G network to cover many households in Sun City. They are offering new customers a flat rate of $60 a month, including tax for those who fit the footprint. No buffers, no data limits, but it will be cell based internet. I checked and I can even use a VPN with a few modifications on the T-Mobile network. Verizon's 5G cellular network has still not expanded enough to offer the service. I do know they are working hard to expand their footprint. I hope this offers a few ideas for you to consider. There are possibly other vendors in the area, but I have not heard a lot of good things to their benefit. May your move to Sun City be a good one, and I welcome you to our little corner of paradise.
