Bring your favorite board game and join others who want to try a variety of games (and yes, dominoes and card players are welcome too), especially those for which there isn't already an established club. Come and go as you like M,F, Sat. 2-5pm at Lakeview Social Hall #3. Bring your RCSC card. For more info call Alan (717) 744-8816 or email him at alandocrock@gmail.com

Hey scj, hope all is well. Good on the new club. Just curious how you managed to get them to agree with a no dues club arrangement?

Keeping busy with variety of things. Like you, am constantly amazed at all SC offers and that we could be involved with. For ex., last year I helped lay out the labyrinth at The Church of the Palms--never in my life would I have thought that would be something I'd do. Last week at Bell Library's Games Cafe I learned how to play the noncompetitive board game "Pandemic" and couldn't believe how much fun and how interesting that was. Anyway, couldn't tell ya about the dues/no dues--Alan did all that. I'm just helping get the word out for the new club. Hope we can get a good showing. I like the idea that people can come and go, play longer game or couple of short ones, teach or be taught, etc.

We had a great first meeting with 16 people, but room for plenty more. Some people will come some days and not others. Some intend to come every time. Some stayed for 1/2 hour, some for all 3. The come and go flexibility is helpful for many.
