Trader Joe’s left Sun City due to increasing shrinkage/theft, years before Tivoli’s moved to Bell & RH Johnson.
There is greater daily traffic on Bell than Sun City’s slice of Thunderbird.
Most retail that leaves is due to increased rent/leases.
Sun City still attracts new small businesses! It’ll be Boutique, gift shops, restaurants, specialty grocerie, etc. Maybe we need a road rally to get folks out to discover there’s much more to Sun City than rec centers!! SCHOA’s Merry & Bright Christmas Lights was a great idea!

First, I have no idea if Eileen attended St. Gerald’s or not, you said that and she never confirmed same. The article you posted is too erudite for you to author. So where did you steal it from without citing? Since you are into religious artifacts, I have my parents baptism certificates, one of which is written in German which are fragile and over 100 years old as well as the Bible’s they were given that are 90 years old as well as my Bible and my brother’s Bible over 60 years old.

To make you feel better, I attended the First Congregational Church in Oak Lawn until I left it in 1966. Congregationalists were responsible for the Salem Witch trials. So when we have a resurgence in witch trials, not that bs from Trump, I will feel outraged again. We were also responsible for stealing their food in 1620, stealing their land throughout the 17th C., starting unnecessary wars with the Native Americans (to steal their land), therefore I am complicit and at least I admit it.

Wrong again. Before Matthew became an Apostle of Christ he was a tax collector. Jesus asked him to become one of his disciples. In addition to my Bible, which I read, I have a few other books that explain verses a person may have questions about. It would appear your "Bible History" prof may have been an Atheist.

St. Peter the Apostle was the fisherman. The New Testament describes Peter as uneducated, however he did learn.

 

Who are the authors of those books? You do realize that ancient writings, including the Bible are the recipient of constant revision, hence how many versions of the Bible exist today and those people believe theirs is the correct one.
Another reason to stay away from this insanity.

SunCityGal Member Josie, I truly believe you are in need of serious mental health support. Anyone who does nothing but try to hurt and name call others, in order to make yourself appear to be right really does need serious behavioral health support. You repeatedly state you are making your statements to point out what was said is wrong.,Someone’s opinion is not wrong, it’s how they perceive the truth of the situation. When you do any writing,? it’s done with such malice and ignorance of the facts are as being presented. I, as well as others, want to continue to use TOSC as a tool for exchange of ideas for the betterment of the community. Your vile comments, followed by pasting many years old portions of posts only exemplifies the fact that you are being immature, childish, selfish and ignorant of current issues that need a positive change to make this community better. Posting old dead segments of posts that are relevant from a historical perspective but not completing the thought only proves your in desperate need of professional help. I do not pity you nor do I care what you do about making yourself better, but at least have human decency to allow others to seek better answers without your attacks. This is the only time I will ever ask you for anything. From this point forward, every time you attack, harass, belittle or otherwise place yourself as judge and jury over someone else’s opinion, I will report your post. As I sit here, in my recliner, with 17 stitches in my ankle and in dire pain, I am so grateful to hear your words of encouragement.
I will reiterate my statement there is help for those who seek it. People who expect something for nothing, such as yourself Josie, get exactly what they need, nothing. You seem to want it all your way, and on a silver platter. Life doesn’t serve it that way and for those that are struggling can get services they need. The difference is what Carole is saying about me is false, not the other way around. She has to prove what she is claiming, not the other way around. I accused her of nothing. BTW how did Rudy's case end? It's over you know. As far as E. Jean Carrol we shall see. We all know what happened there. Same as Kavanaugh. It's all TDS.
