I want to have my courtyard resurfaced.
It will probably be either kool deck or stain.

After 3 different estimates and 3 different measurements, I am still looking.
I definitely feel the estimator (always a guy) is trying to take advantage of this
"little old lady". Wrong guess on their part. I am quite savvy.

This company was recommended , and did a very good job repairing and repainting a cool deck patio. On time/ on estimate/professional.*

    Good luck.*

One of my neighbors had courtyard redone and I liked it.
Yesterday I had an estimate from the company for kooldeck (they call it "Lace")
for an excellent price. I had considered "Stain" but was told
that it did not hold up in our summer weather.
The company is doing six (yes that is 6) courtyards on my street.
Another thing I was told and that was not (yes NOT) to pay anything up front.
That means the company does not have enough funds to do the work.

I have been told no (NO). Will check with neighbor who used the company.

Some ask for a portion upfront and some don't. I'm fine giving a percent ahead and I've never had a problem, though it could happen. Some very skilled guys work on a small margin and need money to buy the supplies. Best not to pay the balance until your satisfied with the work though.*

I signed contract yesterday to have courtyard resurfaced.
    No money down.
They have already done 2 courtyards on my street and more are scheduled.
I even got a better price than the others. Less surface.
