Since the Ladies showers are closed at Sun Dial, today I went to the Lakeview pool for the first time. Interesting experience. Poor me. I walked all around the pool put down my bag but didn't put on my pool shoes. I thought it was the walking area. Unfortunately this was in the 8 ft. area. Several people helped me down the ladder. Then I walked around the edge to the 5 ft walking area. Yes. I do know how to swim but that was not the time to do so. After a half hour, I exited the walking area but had to walk all around (without shoes) to get my pool bag. Then I exited the West walkway only to discover I had parked at the East walkway. And how was your day? I can see where the facilities need to be updated. Showers in Ladies room only have curtains which do not give much privacy. There is only one (1) hair dryer, and as far as I could see only about 4 toilet stalls.
There are absolutely NO private showers for ladies at Sun Dial. A person has to walk all the way down to the spas where there is an overhead shower. Until they get the showers fixed, I plan to go to Lakeview. Glad Snowbirds are gone. Today starts the aqua class before handi-capables. So there will be 3 classes back-to-back. BTW. Yesterday I forgot to put on sunscreen. Also forgot my hat. At least I was able to take a shower.
