Geez, i know people who have killed their neighbor over too early a leaf blower. Best some splaining to do here V; don't ya think?
There is a strip of tile/concrete on the outside of the screen porch that needed to be removed for proper drainage of water coming off the roof. Did you know Maricopa County allows workers to start at 05:00 during the summer months? Now, most will wait for a decent hour to start making a lot of noise, but any homicidal neighbors can take it up with the county.
Wellllllll...there hasn't been any work done since the shot crete. That would be 2 weeks. There is nothing except the ineptitude of this company keeping us from getting this complete. Tomorrow will be 20 weeks. Know any good lawyers?
Was the contractor on the list of approved vendors from SCHOA? If so, you might get some help getting this resolved.
I don't think it was aggie, recommendation from a person who missed the mark a wee bit (nope, not me). Does SCHOA have pool builders in their data base? Anyway, update us V, see the dirt in front of the house, but even that hasn't moved much?
Did you know there is a skilled labor shortage in the area? Apparently it's an issue with our restrictive immigration laws....ANYWAY, small wall at the end for the water feature is complete, deck was poured yesterday. Gates going back up today. There may be a small issue with the coping...all pictures and signed documents show coping a darker color than deck. Updated documents (not picturs) only reference single lighter color deck. A small but significant detail. Not something we discussed or were told about, I just happened to notice it. We shall see...cool deck and tile are supposed to be next week. Oh, and the tile we chose in April? Out of stock, "please come to the showroom to pick another tile". Another YOU HAVE TO BE *&;%^$?, # KIDDING ME MOMENT.
Maybe that explains the reason labor is more expensive than in Los Angeles. Even the gardeners. Always surprises me since housing in L.A. is quadruple to Phoenix.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA....they just finished the deck, in the WRONG color. Good Lord, how did they even find our back yard to dig the hole?
