No matter whether you are a professional artist or haven’t touched clay since kindergarten, you will find the Sun City West Clay Club an exciting place to be.
The Club’s Studio provides space for members to work and equipment to support their many different types of expressions in clay. There are wheels for the pot throwers, rollers for slab and hand-building, clay extruders for coil builders and several kilns for firing clay creations, including Raku.
Beginners not only find instruction in classes, but also by observing the more experienced members. The more accomplished artists hone their skills by attending specialized classes.
All members are encouraged to participate in the annual Clay Club Open House (known as our Pot Party) plus the fall and spring Sun City West Craft Fairs held in the months of November and January.
The club actively participates in the Valley’s Empty Bowls project that helps feed the hungry by donating numerous bowls for sale each year.
Visitors and guests are always welcome – come in and look around!
