ARTIST DEMONSTRATION AND CLUB LUNCHEON AT APRIL 1ST MEETING
Palo Verde Art Club announces their Spring Luncheon to be held at the April 1st meeting, at noon in the East Auditorium in the Sundial Rec Center.
Our guest artist will be Penny Benjamin Peterson. Ms. Peterson is a well-known Valley artist who paints with acrylics and often adds texture with papers and other materials. She derives much of the mood of her paintings from the colors of the Southwest to evoke the serene beauty of the desert. Her acrylic abstracts can be found in private and corporate collections around the world.
    MAY MEETING and GUEST ARTIST
Monday, May 6th at noon in the East Auditorium at the Sundial Rec Center, members and their guests will have an opportunity to meet artist Heather Judge who will demonstrate her techniques in acrylic and mixed media. There is a natural feel to her assemblages of acrylic paint, ink, gold leaf, handmade papers, pressed flowers and leaves.
